If you can’t hear, you have to feel!
Beethoven Museum
Grades 1–6
Beethoven could no longer hear during the second half of his life, yet he continued to compose! Must a musician actually be able to hear at all? How did Beethoven deal with his deafness? What did he try to do about it? And how could people talk to him?
This tour focuses on the senses: Taking Beethoven’s life as a starting point, the pupils are guided as they write down conversations and feel and “visualize” music.
