As técnicas têxteis têm longa tradição na América Latina e no Caribe. Por meio delas, comunidades são criadas, comunicadas e fortalecidas. Suas práticas são transmitidas e seguem vivas nas mãos de quem as realiza. Esta instalação reúne 48 peças, feitas de forma individual e coletiva. Cada obra combina materiais diversos e compartilha memórias, paisagens, mensagens e emoções que nascem da experiência migratória e do vínculo com os lugares que deixamos e com aqueles que hoje habitamos.

Textile techniques have a long tradition in Latin America and the Caribbean. They are used to create, connect and shape communities. Knowledge is passed down through generations and remains alive in the hands of those who practice these skills.

This installation brings together 48 textile works, some created individually, others collectively. Each piece uses different materials to share memories, landscapes, messages, and emotions shaped by migration. Together, they weave connections between the places people once left behind and the places they call home today.
