Born in Salzburg in 1964; studied archaeology and art history in Salzburg and Vienna, doctorate 2003; 1991–1997 research assistant at the Österreichisches Archäologisches Institut (Austrian Archaeological Institute, OeAI); 1997–2002 research assistant at the Urban Archaeological Department of the City of Vienna; 2002–2003 self-employed archaeologist. Team member in several research projects. Curator at the Wien Museum since 2004; curatorial responsibilities: archaeology and urban life before 1500
