The Wien Museum sees it as its task to make the collections stored in archives accessible to the public. Interested persons can examine selected works from our photography and graphics collection in the original for research purposes. These include city views as well as parts of the architecture and topography collection. Many of these can also be accessed digitally via our Online Collection.
Your Visit to the Study Room
Please send your concrete research request to studienraum@wienmuseum.at at least one week before your desired visit date. The study room staff will answer your request as quickly as possible, reserve a research station for you, and prepare the requested object(s) from the collection.
Please note: Due to the conservational condition of objects, this access may be restricted. The decision as to wheter an object is available rests exclusively with the Wien Museum.
