Museum is teamwork! Every Saturday, staff members from across the Wien Museum give insights into their work.
This week, Zeinab Abdelhamed discusses her research into objects long displayed as “war loot” from the Ottoman Siege of 1683. Recent research has revealed that much of this corpus actually comes from the 18th and 19th centuries. Join Abdelhamed, the Samuel H. Kress Interpretive Fellow in the Department of Education, as she rethinks the meaning of these objects and their place in Vienna’s history.
