Schubert Geburtshaus

It was in the house at Nußdorfer Straße 54, where Franz Schubert was born in the kitchen of his family’s small apartment on 31 January 1797, that the composer spent the first four-and-a-half years of his life. Most of his life story is covered here, in an exhibition that documents Schubert's education, his musical development, his family and friends.
