1040 Vienna, Karlsplatz 8
Over the coming years, the Wien Museum on Karlsplatz will be renovated and expanded. The building, designed by Oswald Haerdtl and opened in 1959, will be upgraded into a cutting-edge city museum – with additional room for exhibits, generous spaces for educational activities, a first-class event center, and a new restaurant and café.
STREET ART & SKATEBOARDING
5 July to 1 September 2019
The "old" Wien Museum opens its doors one last time. The galleries have been emptied for the renovation and expansion project, affording unprecedented opportunities for interaction.
Starting on February 14 and for the duration of the construction project, our temporary exhibits are held at the Wien Museum MUSA (1st District, Felderstraße 6-8), right next to City Hall.
