Born in Siegen, Germany in 1989; apprenticed as a watchmaker in Pforzheim; studies in Dynamic Object Conservation at West Dean College & the University of Sussex, graduated with Master’s degree; Conservator in Residence at electromechanical clock museum The Clockworks in London.

Conservator for clocks and automata at the Wien Museum since 2017; additionally, contact person for the clock collection since 2019.

Main research interests: early electrical time keeping and distribution 1850-1950, use and degradation of historical plastic insulation, tactical time-keeping in convoys at sea during the First and Second World War, fire alarm telegraphy
