Wiedereröffnung der Standorte des Wien Museums

Reopening of Wien Museum MUSA and Hermesvilla

The Wien Museum MUSA with the exhibition RICHARD NEUTRA: CALIFORNIA LIVING (Felberstraße 6-8) and the Hermesvilla in the Lainzer Tiergarten will reopen on Friday, 29 May.

The exhibit on RICHARD NEUTRA was opened in February to great acclaim from the public and press. Due to the measures taken against Covid-19, it had to be closed a mere four weeks later. We hope that interest in the exhibition continues to be great after its reopening. The Hermesvilla with its permanent exhibition "Sisi's Palace of Dreams: The Hermesvilla and its History" is a particularly popular destination – we are delighted to be able to reopen this highlight of the Lainzer Tiergarten.

The opening hours are: Tuesday to Sunday and on holidays from 10am to 6pm.

The motto for the Whitsun weekend is "pay as you wish" – for the reopening, every visitor is free to choose the amount of the entrance fee.

Unfortunately, the other Wien Museum locations are too small to meet the current restrictions. We are hoping for an epidemiological development that will make it possible to reopen other locations soon.

Both locations are well prepared for our visitors, meeting all hygiene and safety regulations.

- No more than 1 person per 20 m2  (215 ft2)
