Donation from Dieter and Gertraud Bogner
The exhibition will feature forty works by Marc Adrian, Hildegard + Harold Joos, and Hermann Painitz from the 1950s and 1960s, which Gertraud and Dieter Bogner have donated to Wien Museum.
These two collectors have devoted themselves for the last forty years in particular to geometrical and constructive-systematic trends in Austrian art and have attempted to bring this trend more into the mainstream of contemporary art. "There are notable gaps in public collections in the artistic directions that we are interested in. It for that reason that we decided to make this donation."
