Access
There are five steps between the entrance to the building and the entrance to the museum. An elevator enables visitors to reach the exhibition areas of the museum without using steps. The elevator, which is suitable for wheelchairs/baby strollers, is not located directly adjacent to the main entrance but around the corner at Rathausstraße 14. It arrives at this address at street level.
Accessibility
The musa building can be accessed step-free via an elevator at Rathausstraße 14. All exhibition areas and sanitary facilities are located on one level, step-free, and accessible with a wheelchair/baby stroller.
Artothek
The Artothek can be found in the room next to the Startgalerie.
Assistance Dogs
Visitors are allowed to bring an assistance dog. Caregivers are admitted for free.
Audio Guide
No audio guide is available.
Baby Strollers
There is no dedicated area to park strollers. Baby strollers may only be taken along if space is available. Ticket office staff will be happy to provide relevant information.
Baby Changing Table
There is a changing table for babies in the accessible restroom.
Bicycles
Parking spaces for bicycles can be found to the left of the entrance.
Buses
There are bus stops for getting on and off at Rathausplatz (the town hall square). The WienTourismus B2B website provides information on the current regulations for parking and getting on/off the bus.
Cars
The entire city of Vienna is a short-term parking zone.

A freestanding coat rack (no liability will be accepted) and numerous lockers are available in the lower entrance area (Felderstraße 6-8).
Doors
The building is entered via two entrance doors with a clear opneing width of over 90 cm (that open automatically at the push of a button).
The museum contains double doors with an opening width of over 90 cm (that open automatically at the push of a button).
Eating and Drinking
A vending machine containing cold drinks is available in the foyer. Eating and drinking is not permitted in the exhibition areas.
Elevators
The elevator at Rathausstraße 14 enables visitors to reach the entrance to the exhibition step-free. It arrives at this address at street level (width 130 cm, height over 2 m). All exhibition areas are on one level.
Exhibition Area
The exhibition areas are all located on one level. Visitors move from the foyer/ticket office to the exhibition space for contemporary art and to the Startgalerie. From there, they can enter the Artothek.

You are welcome to film or take photos in our museums for private use. To protect our objects, please do not use flash, tripods, or selfie sticks. Objects marked with a crossed-out camera symbol may not be photographed.

Seating
Visitors can find extensive seating in the foyer but there is no seating in the exhibition area.

The museum shop in the foyer offers a comprehensive range of merchandise and souvenirs related to the museum and Vienna. Access to the shop is step-free and unrestricted.
Stairs
There is a staircase with five steps in the entrance area (foyer). The musa is also accessible without steps via an elevator at Rathausstraße 14.
